Overview

An in person class on how to get breastfeeding off to the best start.

At SASH Maternity we are committed to helping you to learn more about breastfeeding and how to get it off to a good start.

In this session you will gain an understanding of:

  • The value of breastfeeding
  • Why skin to skin contact at birth is important
  • Responsive feeding
  • The basics principles of breastfeeding and how to know it's going well
  • The integral support of the partner
  • Where to find support

There will be an opportunaty to ask questions and participate in a relaxation at the end of the session.

One ticket includes space for your partner to attend.

**If you are unable to attend please cancel your ticket to allow others to attend in your place**


This session is held in the Jacob Bell Building. The Jacob Bell building is located on Canada Avenue, next door to Accident and Emergency.
