Event description
This webinar is targeted at UK seafood businesses who are trading into and out of the EU.

About this Event

The UK will be leaving the EU’s single market and customs union at 11pm on 31 December 2020. The UK’s departure will introduce new customs requirements for UK seafood business trading into and out of the EU.

Following the unprecedented response to our first customs webinar on 30 November, Seafish have teamed up with the Institute of Export & International Trade to deliver another free one hour session at 1pm on Monday 14 December.

The webinar aims to help industry to navigate complex new customs processes in order to ensure seafood businesses can continue trading with the EU, at the end of the transition period.

The session will cover:

• What are Incoterms and why are they important?

• Do I need a GB, XI or EU EORI number?

• What can my customs agent do?

• What are customs special procedures?

• What is duty deferment?
