Event Details

This session in TLC's ‘Preparing for Publication’ workshop series is led by Kristen Harrison, founder of The Curved House, which specialises in designing and producing books and building websites that suit individual book projects. This workshop has been designed for writers interested in digital publishing opportunities.

Kristen will be going over how to build web visibility by building your online presence as a writer, something that is becoming increasingly important in the digital age. Whether you’re interested in traditional or self-publishing models, you’ll get straightforward, impartial advice on everything from how to go about setting up a website, selecting the right cover for your book, and finding your way around social media, including Facebook, Twitter and blog pages, in order to boost your presence and market yourself and your writing in the digital field.
