The SYLA is delighted to be hosting the first Aberdeen event of the 2016/17 calendar year. With the New Year not far away some people will be looking for a fresh start and trainees entering the final seat of their traineeship will be starting to think of NQ jobs. With this in mind we’ve arranged a short talk and Q&A session with Sharri Plimbley of Sharri Plimbley Associates. The event will take place in the Society of Advocates, Concert Court, Broad Street AB10 1BS from 6pm on 7 December.
After working with Olympians such as Sir Chris Hoy and Becky Adlington OBE, Sharri is back in the legal world and recruiting for firms across Scotland. Sharri has a wealth of experience in the legal industry and has also worked in banking and finance. Sharri will be talking to us about preparing for success – from the CV, to the interview and beyond. She’ll update us on current trends in the market, key application dates and how to score your dream job.
The event is open to all SYLA members at all stages of their career – there are tips for everyone. The floor will be open for questions on the night, however, if you wish to submit an anonymous question in advance please feel free to do so by email to email@example.com.
The talk will be followed by informal drinks and networking to close.
Sincere thanks to Society of Advocates for hosting this event and to Plimbley Associates for sponsorship.
This event may count towards TCPD.
