Keynote Speakers

Katie Peate - Tactics for the Storm

All agency leaders will have times when they have to lead their teams through pressure and difficulty. Katie, Strategy Director at Form, will draw on her own story of finding herself in at the deep end of leading a growing business to help us all reflect on the question of “how do we show up and deliver in the midst of adversity?”

Prior to her role at Form, Katie led digital consultancy, Reading Room, as Divisional Director of the Manchester office and was their youngest ever company director at 23. During her time leading the division, she made it 300% more profitable. Katie also supported more than 180 digital businesses to scale through her role as Head of Digital Creative and Tech at the Business Growth Hub.

Now Strategy Director at Form, she supports digital, creative and tech clients across Europe to achieve their growth ambitions.

Paul Barnes - Build A Data-Driven Agency

Everyone is talking about dashboards. It seems to be the latest buzzword for agencies but although the idea of having live, relevant information in your view is solid, the implementation is not so easy.

If you’ve been to the conferences, read the books, looked at other businesses and decided dashboards are for you, but you’re just not sure how to get the data working, then this is a talk for you.

Paul will cover what to track and why you should track them, so your dashboard provides the most important metrics in your business. He will talk about getting dashboards working and building cascaded metrics on sales actives, financial and operational KPIs to drive the ultimate company objectives.

Paul, MD at MAP, works with over 150 UK Digital Agencies. He regularly speaks on the topics of pricing, profitability, financial reporting and building best practice finance systems exclusively for digital agencies.

He’ll tell you that getting this stuff working isn’t easy, but if other agencies have managed to get it working then you can too.

About Bulletproof Liverpool’s Charity

Chasing the Stigma is a national mental health charity committed to removing the fear and unnecessary stigma around mental health issues and making sure that everyone can access the help they need when they need it.

CTS believes everybody in the world has mental health. Everyone. Yet the fear of being judged is preventing too many people from talking about it.

The charity uses first-hand experiences to disarm and normalise the topic. Through sharing our stories and raising our voices, we aim to make a difference and change the way society approaches mental illness.

About The Hub of Hope

The Hub of Hope app is the UK’s most comprehensive mental health support database.

Created by software development consultancy Mashbo for national mental health charity, Chasing the Stigma, it has signposted more than 28,000 people to life-changing and even life-saving mental health support services since its launch in July 2017.

With a database of more than 1,200 organisations, the app is revolutionising the way people in the UK find and access mental health support, bringing local, grassroots and national services together in one place for the first time. It is free to use and free for services to register their details on.

Its ease of use has led to its endorsement by the Samaritans and 25+ other national mental health organisations, its adoption by Papyrus’ Hopeline, as part of the Zero Suicide Alliance’s acclaimed ‘See Say Signpost’ training.

The Hub of Hope is also the foundation of Chasing the Stigma’s ‘Ambassadors of Hope’ mental health training. In October 2018, Everton FC CEO, Professor Denise Barrett-Baxendale and first-team manager Marco Silva were among the first recipients of this concise and potentially life-saving training, alongside other senior club officials.

The web app is available online, in the App Store and in the Play Store. It is free to download and use and also free for organisations to register, simply visit: https://chasingthestigma.co.uk/hub-of-hope/
