About this event

If your child or young person has an Education, Health and Care plan (EHCP) then the annual review is your opportunity to check progress, review their support, plan for next steps and to update the EHCP. This workshop will support you to get ready for the meeting and support you to engage with what happens next.

The workshop is for parent carers in Brighton & Hove and East Sussex

How to book

The workshop is free, but you need to book through Eventbrite.

You can contact sendiass@amazesussex.org.uk or 01273 772289 if you would like to find out more.

We will send you a Zoom link in an email before the workshop.

Please note: This online workshop is for parent carers who have a child or young person who has special educational needs or disabilities. You must live in East Sussex or Brighton & Hove or your child/young person with SEND must live, or be in education, in one of those areas.

West Sussex parents are served by the West Sussex SENDIAS Service and Reaching Families who offer similar events and impartial advice tailored to the area.

If you are from another area, you will find similar support services locally to you by searching SENDIAS and your area.

Please make sure you have updated Zoom to access the session.

Organised by

Amaze is a charity that supports children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities and their families in Sussex.

We have online and printed resources so you can find things out for yourself and a helpline for when you want individual advice or someone to steer you to the right information. We also offer social groups, befriending and practical support with claims for disability benefits.

Our workshops and courses are for parent carers and young people to share experiences and learn more about useful topics.
