PrePITstop key message 2-day course
Medway Clinical Commissioning group has successfully secured a two-year training project to expand and develop the expertise in diabetes management via the Paula Carr Diabetes Trust.
This project aims to reach our 50 general practices with the aim of upskilling the primary care workforce to:

Provide a robust and sustainable strategy to the delivery of high-quality care for people with diabetes and those at risk of developing diabetes

Reduce variations in care

Improve uptake of structured patient education and lifestyle services

Encourage proactive, appropriate management to improve patient outcomes
This training course covers the key messages in the PrePITstop course delivered in a 1-day programme
This course is suitable for PNs, NPs and GPs experienced in delivering diabetes care wanting a good update or do not have the time to attend the 3-day version.
This is not suitable for those inexperienced in diabetes care.
Applications:
1. Please note this is a 2-day course and that you will not pass the course if you don't attend all days.

3. Please note that attendance on this training is supported via Medway CCGs Pharmacy Incentive Scheme and participants are not to attend training during their holiday.
