Session 4 - WEDNESDAY 13 MAY, 18:00 - 20:30PM

ALL WORKSHOPS WILL TAKE PLACE ONLINE VIA ZOOM (you will be supported by Onlinevents team if you need help with the tech)

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP: This workshop opens the space to a new approach to human transformation. It will be delivered over four evening sessions through which you will be introduced to Presence in Action - a radically different experiential approach accessed through the P6 Constellation framework. Presence in Action is a self-centering inquiry that anchors and supports us in attending to what is present and current in our everyday lives. Through our sessions you will discover the basics of using the P6 Constellation in your own life. You will gain insights that will surprise you! More importantly, you will gain a sense of how it can equip you to engage moment-to-moment with yourself and others more freely, compassionately, joyfully and hopefully.

The content of our sessions will emerge, guided by what unfolds between us. We may touch upon some or all the following:

• how it came to be what it is (and is not)

• how to begin to use it

• what it does (and does not do)

• how despite some similarities, it is fundamentally different from conventional coaching and therapeutic approaches

• the complexity-thinking paradigm and principle of Natural Inclusion that underpins it

We will flow between experiential, reflective and dialogic inquiry, working sometimes in the whole group, sometimes in small groups and also doing solo work.

This workshop is a precursor to a 4-day, in-person intensive for those who decide they want to go for the deep dive.

Outcomes depend on what each person brings to the shared encounter. Past participants have:

- Gained radical personal insights about how their past and future shape their present experiencing

- Discovered a new approach to illuminating and transforming their inner processing that they can use in the moment anywhere, anytime

- Had their current ways of seeing and doing things deeply challenged

- Decided its not for them • Been inspired and invoked to dive in for more

I am passionate about equipping people to support themselves in their own lives. Whilst many of the people I work with are practitioners in the helping professions (e.g. psychologists, coaches, teachers), many are simply folk wanting to be freer and more in flow in their lives (e.g. musicians, artists, community mediators, social activists, IT workers ). Some of the people I supervise use the P6 Constellation to great effect with children and young people; others with much older generations particularly in community mediation settings. In the current world context, Presence in Action is a powerful antidote that equips us to notice and clean up the manipulative rhetoric that is rife in society. Those of us using PIA in our daily lives have set up a social enterprise - PIA Collective - so we can pass on this capacity to others everywhere we are.

Presence in Action is a radically different way of illuminating and making sense of what goes on within us in any and every context in which we find ourselves. It can deliver insights and personal transformation surprisingly quickly - and is accessible to anyone across generations. Whilst this programme is only a brief introduction, you will go away from it equipped with the basics that can begin to have a potentially dramatic effect on how you engage with yourself and others.

Why Online Workshops?

We are acutely aware that for many colleagues in the helping professions travel is extremely difficult due to time, money and health constraints. We are developing this programme so that the workshops offered by experienced trainers from all over the world can also be accessed by you from the comfort of your own home

This workshop will be hosted in the Zoom meeting platform which has all the resources we need to create an experiential group learning environment. The workshops will have access to an online group room, breakout rooms for small groups, whiteboards for creating and sharing resources and the capacity to communicate with voice and text.

How Do I Attend the Workshop?

30 minutes before your workshop is due to start you will receive an email which will include a clickable link to join the workshop. This will open the Zoom meeting on your computer or mobile device, please be ready to join the workshop 15 minutes before it is due to start so we can make sure everyone's tech is working ok and we can start on time.

When you register for the workshop you will receive an email with an invitation to meet a colleague from the onlinevents team in Zoom who will help you orientate to the Zoom environment. Because the workshop will require the use of the camera and microphone on your computer or mobile device we want to help you feel confident using your technology.

Please note that we are requiring that all workshop participants meet with a colleague from the onlinevents team before participating in the onlinevents workshop programme so that the workshop can begin and run smoothly. Any colleagues who do not respond to the invitation for the pre-workshop meeting will not be able to join the workshop. This pre-workshop meeting will prepare you to attend this workshop and any other onlinevents workshop that you choose to register for. You wont need to attend one meeting per workshop.
