‘Presencing’ a quiet day with Chris Blakeley
Overview
14th Nov
Chris Blakeley leads a quiet day
‘Presencing’
Chris will introduce us to meditative and contemplative practices for presencing in a fuller state of awareness in order to be more wholly available to the Divine Presence which is always with us if we can attune to it. Drawing on his recent book and using the First Commandment and Romans 12 as a starting point, he will explore what it means to be present in heart, soul, mind and body. The day will combine interactive sessions with space for personal reflection.
Chris has been pioneering the use of retreats and other ‘deeper learning’ practices to help people grow through transition for over 25 years. He is a qualified leadership coach, counsellor and spiritual director and founded the Crossroads Retreats Charity. He also teaches on the Waverley Abbey Spiritual Formation programme. He has just published a book on 'Presencing and Spiritual Direction - uncovering saced stillness'
The cost of £45 includes coffee and pastries on arrival, a retreat lunch and afternoon pot of tea and cake.
Or come and book to stay overnight and make the most of being at this extraordinary urban oasis.
