Description

Advanced TV Training for Social Media

This course is for anyone who has already attended the Mobile Video Workshop one day course with Brees Media or has a good basic knowledge of filming and editing.

It is the next step, using a more advanced editing app and working on creating a packaged TV piece to deadline along with a live broadcast.

The first two hours will be spent appraising everyone's video content that has been produced following the first workshop.

Anna Brees, former ITV and BBC reporter and presenter..

"This workshop will involve real life scenarios where attendees have to work to deadline, producing live broadcasts to Facebook and Twitter.

The purpose of this workshop is to get people filming and broadcasting like a professional in real life scenarios. Looking at best practise on framing, audio and lighting.

This is the ideal next level training for anyone who has the basics of editing and filming but wants to focus on further developing their skills to the next level.

There will be time for individual feedback on each attendees own video output."

What to expect

  • We will be covering a live event, creating a packaged 1.30 minute piece and a 1.30 live broadcast.

  • Working on KineMaster, looking at advanced graphics, transitions, subtitles and special effects.

  • This workshop will also provide more extensive live presenting tips on broadcasting for Facebook, Twitter, YouTube live etc..

  • Only 5 people in the class for dedicated one to one feedback.

About Anna Brees

Anna has trained the communications team at Public Health Wales, as well as working with Arriva Trains Wales, Admiral, Barclays.

Anna recently produced a ten minute news feature for a town in the Vale of Glamorgan, which received 21,000 video views with a very small Facebook ad boost - the entire programme was filmed, edited and presented on a mobile phone.

She believes great content, and story telling via well crafted video will get organic share and your message out to the people who you want to hear it.

What you need to bring

Attendees need to bring their own mobile phone with KineMaster app installed. All other equipment including microphones and tripods will be provided.
