About this event
- Event lasts 1 hour 30 minutes
Presenting involves delivering information or a message effectively and engagingly to an audience. It's not just about the content itself, but also the way it's presented, including body language, voice, and overall delivery. A good presentation can inspire, educate, and leave a lasting impact.
Good presentation skills can help you to secure the role you've been dreaming about or help you to forward your current position. These skills can be learned, developed and refined and as with everything, become easier with practise. In this interactive session we will be exploring:
- What are your fears when having to present? What are the techniques to overcome these potentially deep seated barriers?
- What sort of presentations will you have to be giving and to what sort of audiences? Why does this matter?
- How good is your NVC (Non Verbal Communication? ) Are you aware of all the things you say, the messages you put out, without opening your mouth? How well can you read other people?
- How can you 'own' the presentation?
- What are the techniques to harness adrenaline to make it work in your favour so that you can present to your full ability?
- How do you 'work' an audience?
- How do you prepare for the presentation?
- How do you deliver with impact and leave a lasting impression?
We will be exploring and working through a range of techniques to help develop your confidence through practical exercises. Although you do not have to appear on camera, you will be required to speak as this webinar is designed to be fully interactive in order to achieve the maximum results.
