Event description

An afternoon of online talks and tutorials for people with an interest in Raspberry Pi and more - on a special theme -

We're a digitally creative community who have been meeting every month since July 2012 to learn, discover and share the potential of Computing, Computer Science and the Raspberry Pi computer to share our passion for digital making and creativity. There are about 100 of us, aged from 7 to 70 years and include children, students, parents, teachers, academics, developers and hobbyists.

During social distancing, all our events are online. We invite anyone, anywhere who may be interested to join us. Join in with us to hear some presentations, demonstrations and discussion that focus on some of the following themes: Raspberry Pi computers, Arduino, Minecraft, Micro:bits, Python, Scratch etc. All presentations are recorded, so it's fine to register and catch-up when you can.

Please note that ticket registrations close two hours before the event starts. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times. Our sessions are moderated and recorded.

Equipment: We'll be using BigBlueButton (BBB) hosted by Exa Networks for the event. To participate, you'll need access to device running Chrome or Firefox browser and ideally a keyboard, there's nothing additional to install. Watch a tutorial on BBB here:, read a guide at: and you can test BBB here yourself using a demo site.
