Overview

This webinar is for local authority staff, for the purpose of Prevent awareness only.

An introduction to the Prevent Duty

The Prevent Duty aims to safeguard vulnerable individuals from being radicalised, supporting terrorism or becoming terrorists themselves.

This webinar provides opportunities for practitioners with prevent and safeguarding responsibilities across Lancashire to develop further knowledge around the risks of radicalisation, how to support those at risk and learn about the forms of extremism and terrorism we face today. The session will also provide a brief overview of the referral process, including details of how to make a referral should you have concerns.

Please only register for yourself.

• Please use your work or organisations email address.

• Access to the webinar will not be granted for anyone who has not registered.
