This training will explore issues relating to the threat of unnecessary breakdown of settled and beneficial placements. The prevalence and reasons for these problems will be examined. The legal framework of law regulations and guidance will be explored. Actions that IROs, supervising social workers and carers might take to counter these threats will be identified. Of particular focus will be the opportunities for IROs and carers to work together in promoting the interests of children in the face of such threats. Significant use will be made of real life case examples.

Who is the Training For?
