Event Details

Our panel of speakers will provide sharp insights into the realities of tackling the rapidly snowballing challenge of health and social care for the aged and chronically sick. They will engage the audience in evaluating possible solutions, exploring how IT, human performance technology, and effective transformation consulting can be used to create a predictive, preventive, integrated operating model for health and social care, known as the 'virtual healthcare centre'.

Speaker info:

Ed Gardiner, WBS Faculty of Behavioural Sciences - Head of Behavioural Design Lab

Howard Bentley, past Head of Strategy and Business Change at J Sainsbury's, since 2002 a consultant specialising in employee engagement and organisational communications

Joe Killen leads a Spanish IT consultancy Victrixwhich over the last decade has pioneered software solutions allowing health and social care providers to link their legacy IT systems and make them inter-operable.  Spain is acknowledged as a leading country in managing health and social care, since distinctive national factors have stimulated a more sustainable approach.  Joe's team are now building second generation technology allowing proactive and predictive management, using big data, of chronic health conditions such as diabetes, COPD, heart disease and poor mental health, and enabling communities of patients and formal and informal carers to better manage these conditions.
