Pricing for Profit in A Small Creative Business

This workshop is a hands on session aimed at solopreneurs and one man or one woman bands who run their own creative business and would like to take some time out to evaluate whether they are pricing their goods and services at the best price to make the profit that you want.

Perfect for people who are at the early stages of developing their pricing strategy and also for businesses that may be looking at how to increase their profitability.

  • discussion on the most common mistakes solopreneurs make when setting their prices

  • how to create upsells that make sense and make you extra money

  • are you including everything in your pricing?

  • how to use tiered pricing to attract a higher sale

  • including a "high end" option to make sure that you price high enough in case someone wants to spend more with you

How it works?

The day is broken into sessions where we look at different approaches to setting your prices. We will look at product pricing and also service pricing and work through a series of check lists to calculate your total costs even including those hidden costs like power, fuel, & thinking time! You will have worked examples and templates to follow that you can use straight away in your own business. We also look at how you can generate an additional income stream from a service if you sell products OR an additional income stream from a product if you provide a service.

Dee also shares her tiered pricing strategy that she uses in her own business which has even surprised her at the amount of extra revenue that it has generated for her!

We will also introduce you to the idea of the top 20% of your clients who want more from you but they don't know that they do until you provide it as an add on option for what they asked for.
