PRID Sustainability Research Conference (1st in the series) is an annual event organised by Proficient Research, Innovation and Development (PRID). This is one of our multidisciplinary events; presentations about sustainability research findings from any discipline is welcomed. The event is mainly targeted at diverse participants including but not limited to 1. Academics and researchers working or studying in an area that involves investigations related to the understanding of sustainability issues. 2. Academics and researchers working or studying in an area that involves application of relevant knowledge and innovations with the main objectives of overcoming challenges and obstacles that tends to impedes sustainability in various sectors. 3. Policy makers, public servants, business people and other relevant stakeholders interested in sustainability issues.

Participants, whose presentations in word format are accepted, will then be required to prepare power point presentations which should range between 5-16 slides for participants with presentations. Dr Yahuza Ibrahim
Dr Yahuza Ibrahim was a former Lecturer and researcher in Nigeria, Banker (NYSC-with the Central Bank of Nigeria), and trainee agronomist (on placement) with the Sokoto State Agricultural Development Project (SADP). He is currently an independent researcher and event convener with Proficient Research, Innovation & Development (PRID) which he founded. Dr Yahuza is a global expert in Agronomy and Crop Ecology with specialization in theorethical production ecology. He has particular interest in exploring yield-density equations in both sole crop and intercrops. Dr Yahuza’s other research interest include but not limited to: resource capture and the efficiency of resource capture by crops; low input and sustainable production systems; climate change mitigations and adaptations in agricultural systems (crops); organic farming and related ecological production systems; adaptation of crops and varieties at locations other than of origin or of wider cultivation, and socio-economics of agricultural systems (mainly crops).
