Transport & Address:
Meet us at Chiltern Rangers Depot, 60 Fennels Road, High Wycombe, HP11 1SL for 10am. Please click here for a map. There is a pay and display public car park (card and Ringo only) and toilets just outside the depot.We will size you up for yours waders then walk round the corner to Barrowcroft.
Please can we ask everyone to arrive on time to ensure you do not miss the health & safety and task briefing. If you are late and the session has already started, you may not be able to join. Thank you.

The Task:
Today we will be working in the river clearing litter and excess vegetation. We'll also be litter picking the river side and verges! Lots to do, come along and say hello!
Timings (please note these timings are approximate):
10.00: Arrival at depot for task and safety briefing and get your waders on, please don't be late!
10.15: Work begins
11.30: Tea & coffee break
13.00: Lunch time, please bring your own
15.00: Work finishes, time to go home!
What to bring:
We will supply waders.
Please bring your gloves (we will have spares) and dress for the weather and the task.
Long trousers are advisable as there may be ticks and thorny vegetation. We also recommend wearing steel toe capped or sturdy boots rather than trainers.
Wear layers that you can remove if you get hot whilst working. Bring a waterproof as most of our sites have no shelter from the rain. Bring a hat and suncream if it's sunny.
Please bring plenty of fluids and a packed lunch if you plan to stay later than 1. We will bring a tea kit and biscuits.
Please note:
Biscuits are served at all Chiltern Rangers sessions. Please advise if you have an allergy.
Sometimes there is a need for us to use power tools that can be noisy.
