Primary Authority Seminar

The Primary Authority Seminar will be the first opportunity for local authority officers to provide feedback on the new scheme which came into operation on 1st October. The seminar is free and likely to become fully subscribed very quickly.

Delegates will hear from the Director of Regulatory Delivery, Graham Russell, and Deputy Director, Duncan Johnson, on the simplification of Primary Authority and its availability to all UK businesses. There will also be speakers from the regulatory community and business.

Topics will include the changes to Primary Authority, the new Primary Authority Register, tools to support primary authorities and pilot work being undertaken with local authorities around the country.

There will be interactive sessions and opportunities to put questions to the people behind the scheme. Refreshments and lunch will be provided throughout the day.
