‘Whet your Appetite with a Webinar’: Growth Mindset – Unlocking the Power of the Mind

Intended Audience - All Primary and Key Stage 3 Teachers and TS&PC Co-ordinators

Teachers are invited to participate in a live webinar to find out about Mindsets and how they might impact on learning. This webinar will look at the possibilities offered by developing a growth mindset, consider the research behind it and the implications this has for teaching and learning.

Purpose of the Webinar

• To understand what Mindsets are and how they might impact on learning;
• To identify behaviours and strategies that help develop a Growth Mindset culture in the classroom;
• To consider the potential impact of teacher mindset on classroom practice;
• To provide an opportunity to ask questions about mindsets and their practical application; and
• To encourage online collaboration as a means of continuing professional development.
