We are delighted to be welcoming two teachers from Shanghai to the North East, who will be spending two weeks at Regent Farm First School. As part of this trip there will be an exciting opportunity to observe the teachers delivering a lesson to students at the school.
This is free of charge event aimed at Primary Teachers and mathematics teachers working in Northumberland, Tyne, Wear and County Durham schools.
You can choose from 2 mornings available to attend, Tuesday 17th January or Wednesday 18th January.
On each day there will be an introductory presentation from our Teaching for Mastery specialists, sharing their own experiences of developing a mastery approach in their schools. This will be followed with the observation of our Shanghai visitors, delivering a lesson to a full class of students, and then a post lesson review including chance for Q&A.
On the 15th February there will be a follow up event where we will reflect on the previous session, and the impact it will have within your schools, and how you this can be progressed.
- Places are limited to 3 per school.
- Schools are expected to send at least one representative to the follow up event.
- Parking is available but limited. Please either car share or use the metro, which is adjacent to the school.
