Primary subject leaders of computing - cluster meeting

March 12, 2018 at 4:00PM

St Mark's Church of England Primary School

This meeting will provide teachers of computing with a range of resources and ideas to use as part of the computing curriculum. We will look at how to create a basic app; explore activities which reinforce understanding of computing without needing access to digital devices and also try out some simple programming linked to the easy-to-use and inexpensive micro:bit. There will, as always, be the opportunity to share practice and exchange ideas on how schools are delivering computing.

16:05 Create simple apps
16:30 Unplugged activities not requiring computers
16:50 Introduction to physical computing
17:20 Updates and sharing practice
17:30 Feedback survey and Close
