Description

Prince was a musical genius who died way too soon (21.4.2016). We celebrate and remember his legacy via this interactive presentation and review of his musical career using video clips, sound bites, interviews and audience participation. Although it is not well known, Prince was a huge Black history fan with an extensive library. He also used his art to promote human/civil rights and was involved in the Black Lives Matter campaign.

We will showcase his activism, consciousness, politics and philanthropy and other information neglected by mainstream media. This special one-off presentation will be jointly delivered by Andrew Muhammad (The Investigator) and Tony Warner (from BHW) We will cover:

  • Is there a war against 'conscious' Black artists ?
  • Worth more dead than alive? Who gets the money?
  • Artists he influenced or mentored
  • Revolution and black history in his songs
  • Conspiracy theories real or imagined ?
  • Hidden stories of his altruism and community work
  • The types of African history he reseached and championed

About the speaker:

Andrew Muhammad (The Investigator) is one of the United Kingdom’s leading Black History and Culture Specialists. His lively energetic presentations are designed to bring forth history and culture to the spectator allowing for a more enriched awareness of the universal contributions and achievements of a culturally diverse society.
Since 1994 Andrew Mhuammad has been conducting Hidden Truth Tours nationwide and internationally to Kemet (Egypt), Tunisia, Ireland and Spain. Andrew Muhammad has also designed what is widely known as the ‘Hidden Truth Movie Breakdown’. This delivery is based on the Chinese proverb that a picture paints a thousand words.
