Event Details

This course, presented by Aspîre’s CEO, Peter Stuttard, gives the delegate a broad understanding of the complex topic of Supportability Engineering (SE, but in Defence terminology - Integrated Logistic Support) and the associated topics of Logistic Support Analysis (LSA) and Reliability and Maintainability (R&M). The course is aimed at those personnel becoming involved in a Supportability Engineering programme for the first time and Project or Programme Managers requiring an overview.

The course is designed to enhance the delegate’s awareness of Supportability Engineering (SE), why it is required, what it is, who will be involved, when it should be implemented and how, albeit at a very high level. The problems and potential pitfalls will be discussed as well as the potential benefits.

The course is founded on the basic principles of SE and LSA and is not driven by any existing or planned standards, although these are introduced and their relationship to these basic principles is explored. The course has a pragmatic style; with the instructor capable of tailoring and relating the subject matter to the needs of the audience. Whilst the course introduces some new concepts, the aim is that the delegates should be able to relate these to existing practices and to apply them to enact improvements.

Aspire Performance Driven Training

Improving skills and performance through the most advanced, cutting edge training systems and methodologies
Aspire Performance Driven Training ( Aspire PDT) designs and delivers training in support engineering and related topics at the highest levels in international defence and civil sector organisations and also to small and medium sized enterprises.
Skills and knowledge are at the heart of the performance of every employee.  A company’s overall performance will be markedly improved by raising their employees’ skills and increasing their knowledge.
In both the civil and defence sectors, any lack of knowledge or gaps in skills could prove potentially harmful and reduce the efficiency and effectiveness of any organisation.  To realise the full potential of employee performance, it is important to correctly identify the gaps in their skills and knowledge and then to design a bespoke training, coaching and mentoring programme to facilitate improved performance.
We can deliver to you 'in-house' or at our dedicated facilities in Tamworth or Lichfield, Staffordshire. We can also produce bespoke training to your exacting requirements.
Contact the Training Business Area Manager Gary Kristensen MBE on to discuss your needs.
