Join us on Friday 8th August for the launch of Print Expo 2525

We’re thrilled to invite you to a very special event this August to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Out of the Blueprint! Print Expo 2525 features recent residents Matilda Bull, Maddie Lennon, Kerry Simms and Kamal Malhotra, alongside highlights from the archive of our 25 past residencies.

Alongside the exhibition, we’ll have print workshops, artist talks and a pop-up market. Expect new riso publications and gocco T-shirts in the Print Shop, all specially commissioned for the occasion.

We’re also honoured to present The Winston Smith Library of Victory and Truth by Hans K Clausen – a sculptural reimagining of George Orwell’s 1984, made from 1,984 copies of the iconic novel.

Print Expo 2525 opening hours:

Friday 8th - Saturday 23rd August 2025.

Monday–Saturday, 10am–5pm (open late until 8pm on Fridays)

Friday 8th August 2025, 6-9pm, FREE ENTRY

Out of the Blueprint is an eco print studio in Leith, Edinburgh. We use specialist Japanese printing methods called RISO and GOCCO. Through our affordable, sustainable and ethical print service, we produce posters, booklets, T-shirts and more for our local community.

As a social enterprise, we raise money through our eco printing service to support our work with young people.
