Print Play - AM Session

Date: Thursday 14th August

Time: 12pm - 2pm

Location: ARTworks Creative Space, Newlands Centre, Kettering, NN16 8JA

Suitable for: Ages 7 – 15

Printmaking provides a great opportunity to experiment with texture, colour and composition! Come along to our morning or afternoon session to learn and play with colour and ink. The Gallery team will teach the steps and processes for simple printmaking and support your child to create their own unique work of art.

Children will create an artwork inspired by the natural world and experiment with making copies of their own artwork. We’ll also learn how to make your own printmaking tools using recycled materials, so that you can continue your creativity at home.

We have aprons for all participants, but please dress to make a mess!

  • All materials are provided with instruction and guidance.
  • All children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian for the whole session. One ticket per child. Accompanying adults do not need to book a ticket.

A free craft table will also be available for younger siblings and drop-in families between 10.30am and 2pm, where space is available.
