Discover how to combine thermal printing and collage to make a unique miniature self-portrait in this creative workshop for young adults aged 18-30.
Inspired by the ‘Heiress: Sargent’s American Portraits’ exhibition at Kenwood House, participants will explore how portraiture can reflect identity through facial expression, setting and accessories or props. They will have the opportunity to print their own miniature portraits on a thermal printer before embellishing them with collage to reflect their own identities, discovering how images can be used for informative and symbolic purposes.
This workshop includes free entry to the Heiress exhibition at Kenwood House.
The meeting point on the day will be outside the main entrance of Kenwood House. Please be on time as it may be difficult to accomodate late comers!
Spaces are limited, so make sure to book a ticket to secure your spot. We are trialling a small charge to encourage attendance but please let us know if you need to access a free ticket by emailing theassemblagecollective@gmail.com
We can't wait to see you there!
This workshop is open to anyone aged 18-30 and you don't need any prior experience to join us.

About your facilitator:
Tasch is a papercraft artist and facilitator with an interest in exploring the possibilities of paper. In a world that deprioritises the tangible in favour of the digital, she sees her work as a way of reasserting the power of things we can feel and tear in our hands.
