About this event

Join us for a special Art Tea series of printmaking workshops open to all, experiment with different elements of printmaking during the 4 sessions and get to know others over a brew. This series is suitable for beginners ages 18+, booking essential.

Our Art Tea sessions are led by local artist Kate Bufton who is also the printmaking assistant on the Make. Believe. print tour. Kate will support and guide you through a variety of printmaking techniques focusing on artists that are currently in the Drumcroon Print Exhibition at the gallery. No experience is required and all materials will be provided, just bring yourself!

It would be useful to book onto all 4 of the sessions to make the most out of the printmaking processes that you will be shown. Kate will also share tips and ideas for how you can continue printmaking in your own homes too!

The Art Tea group meet every Tuesday morning from 10.30am-12.30pm

  • Session 1: Tuesday 26th August - Monoprints inspired by Charlie Holt's Sundance
  • Session 2: Tuesday 2nd September - Botanical Printmaking inspired by Sydney Nolan
  • Session 3: Tuesday 9th September - Collographs inspired by Laurence Scarfe
  • Session 4: Tuesday 16th September - Repeat prints inspired by Kip Gresham

Each session will be £6.50 - please confirm your place through Eventbrite and pay in person on the day. The £6.50 can be paid directly to Kate at the start of each session.
