Printmaking Workshop with Be Smart, Choose Art - Part of LGBT+ History Mont...
Sat 25 February 2017, 11:00 – 13:30 GMT
Explore your favorite LGBT+ heros by making a linocut portrait of them or simply create some linocut prints that celebrate freedom of expression by designing your own artwork.
We will be working on A5 sized paper in this 2½ hour workshop which is open to adults and suitable for beginners. The workshop includes support from artist Jodie Sadler. All inks, papers and tools are included.
There will also be the opportunity to try monoprinting should time be available.
Please bring with you a source of inspiration such as a postcard, photograph or printout of something you would like to turn into a print. Wear an old t-shirt or shirt that you don’t mind getting paint on.
Part of our LGBT+ History Month celebration.
This workshop will take place in the York Room at Redbridge Central Library.
