Event description

Description

Discover the Fascinating world of the Monks of Prittlewell Priory.

Why did they wear black? What did they eat? Why did they use sign language?

The tour gives you a glimpse into the life and world of the monks and includes a look at the remaining site – weather permitting! This is an opportunity to explore part of the rich history of Southend.

Tours begin from the Priory Visitor Centre. Booking essential. Although tours are primarily aimed at an adult audience, children are welcomed.

Please allow 1 Hour 30 Minutes for the tour.

To keep you up-to-date with our events, we will send our Southend Libraries & Museums E-Newsletter to the email you provide upon booking. You may unsubscribe at any time.
