Private Seafin Mini-Cruise - FREE
Welcome aboard Seafin, a luxury, classic motor yacht.
You are invited to join our private mini-cruise experience. Please be assured that absolutely no sailing experience is required.
Event Date: Thursday 27 April 2017
Times: Meet 1.00pm in Port Hamble, Return approx. 5.30pm
What to Wear / Bring: There are no special requirements, we suggest smart casual attire with flat shoes (as there is a ladder up to the sun deck) and bring a warm jumper or jacket. Depending on the weather on the day, we also suggest you bring sunglasses and a hat. There is plenty of space on board for you to bring a day bag.
What is included: There will be a choice of tea, coffee or Pimms welcome drink with a selection of canapés served throughout the trip. Please notify us if you have any dietary requirements or allergies.
How to Find Us: There is plenty of free parking in the marina. There is a train station within Hamble, but it is quicker and easier to take a taxi to the marina from a mainline station; from London exit the train at Southampton Airport Parkway and from other directions use Southampton Central or Swanwick.
Seafin is fully commercially coded and insured with all the necessary safety equipment including lifejackets.
I can’t swim, can I attend? Of course, Seafin is a very stable motor yacht so you won’t fall off, and there are no swimming stops planned.
I don’t know if I get seasick, should I be worried? Seafin is a very stable motor boat, so if you can travel on a large yacht like a ferry you should be fine. If you are concerned you can purchase non-drowsy anti-seasickness tablets from all good pharmacists.
Can I get off mid-way? It is very difficult to get off mid-way through the mini-cruise. If you are worried about timings, please contact us to ask for advice.
What provisions are there for persons with mobility issues? Seafin offers wheelchair ramp access on board to the main aft-deck and drinks reception area. However, there are steps or ladders to all other areas of the boat including the sun deck and toilets. We do not recommend this activity for those with severe mobility impairment.
