About this event

Save the Date!

Invitation-only evening at Market Hall, Plymouth.

When: Tuesday, 18th November, 5 pm to 8 pm

Where: Market Hall, Plymouth

We are hosting a lovely celebration—an invitation to walk the entire length of the Mossy Carpet, trace the soft, mossy tufts, and listen to the voices of others (and maybe your own!) via the integrated audio speakers and solar-powered artworks. It will be an immersive, joyful moment to reflect, connect, and be inspired by what we’ve achieved together. And will coincide with COP30 (The UN Conference on climate change that is taking place in Brazil at the same time.

This intimate preview evening is just the beginning. The full exhibition—publicly open for all to explore—runs from 17th to 23rd November, also at the Market Hall. Come along, find your pompom, hear the stories you helped make possible, and soak in the atmosphere of climate action and communal hope.

Why this matters

This isn’t just art. It’s a living, breathing testament to how small, creative acts can ripple outwards—promoting climate literacy, community connection, and ecological awareness. Moss, our most humble muse, teaches us persistence, resilience, and quiet transformation. With each step along the carpet, you’ll feel the energy of thousands of South West voices, ideas, and dreams interwoven.

Public exhibition dates: 17–23 November, during Market Hall opening hours. Bring friends, family, anyone curious to find their pompom or simply experience something gentle, green, and rooted in hope.
