An exhibition by artist Lorna Carmen McNeill using fibreoptic light is coming to the Langley Academy. Lorna’s installation pays homage to Slough astronomer William Herschel, whose discoveries include identifying Uranus and infra-red technology which has contributed to modern fibreoptics.
Lorna's artwork is part of the project ‘Slough and the Universe: Art, Astrophysics and inspiring communities’, funded by Arts Council England’s Grant for the Arts, embracing multiple disciplines including, science, maths, religion and MuseumLearning.
