About us

Hello, we are Jack and Charlie.

We have had our Greenwich flat on the market for 10 months, but struggled to sell it the conventional way through an estate agent. We had a lot of interest in the flat, but with so many new developments being built in London competition is high. After Charlie’s brother Chris managed to raise £23k for Thrombosis UK, doing an Ironman we decide to look into these competitions further to allow us to raise funds for Thrombosis UK and Sudden Unexplained Deaths in Children (SUDC UK).  This way we can give someone a life changing moment getting on the property ladder mortgage free.

You will have the chance to win our flat mortgage free by answering the multi-choice question and paying only £5 to enter.

The Flat

The flat is in Greenwich, London a minutes’ walk from Greenwich Train station, 10 minutes into the heart of Greenwich.  Greenwich is a lovely part of London, with cobbled streets, a daily market, and of course the lush Greenwich Park.

The flat was purpose build in 2008, set on the 3rd floor, with a full length balcony and consists of 2 bedrooms, bathroom and living space with kitchen and lounge.  The flat was recently decorated, and is ready to move straight into!  We will also be including stamp duty, legal fees and a bottle of champagne!

The Prize Draw

The competition will run initially until the 26th January 2018 or until the maximum number of tickets have sold. We are using Eventbrite to provide the ticketing and payment services, they will be holding all entry fees until the competition has been drawn. We have incorporated the fees of this service into our costs.

The draw will be conducted by PrizeShark Ltd an independent competition company providing us with a certificate of the drawn winner!

Providing we sell all tickets, we want to give back to two charities in memory of Tony Pierce and Rex Gooden. Tony Pierce, Charlie’s father, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 56 years old from a pulmonary embolism that stemmed from unpredictable deep vein thrombosis (DVT).

Rex Gooden, he was an outgoing happy toddler, 3 days off 22 months and died during his afternoon nap from a sudden unexplained death.

A donation of £25,000 to Thrombosis U.K, a relatively small charity, co-founded by Professor Beverley Hunt is dedicated to promoting awareness, research and care for those suffering from coagulation or clotting of the blood. Thrombosis and pulmonary embolism (blood clots) are not uncommon and remain a health issue affecting thousands of people in the UK. Yet until the charity was founded, there had been no lead independent body for thrombosis research in the country.  For more information about the charity visit

A donation of £25,000 to  SUDC UK it is dedicated to increasing the awareness of sudden unexpected deaths in childhood, and funding crucial research to better understand and prevent these tragedies. For more information about the charity and Rex's story please visit and

We would like to give somebody the opportunity to own a flat in London mortgage free, London is one of the most expensive places to buy a property and there are many people struggling to save for a deposit.  It would be an incredible feeling, handing over the keys to the flat and them not having to worry about a mortgage!  This also gives us the opportunity to donate £50,000 to two charities in memory of Tony and Rex, to support the charities in ongoing research.

What‘s included:

  • The Flat
  • Stamp Duty up to £13,000
  • Legal fees up to £1,000+VAT
  • A bottle of Champagne to celebrate!

Jack and Charlie

Hello, we are Jack and Charlie.

We have had our Greenwich flat on the market for 10 months, but struggled to sell it the conventional way through an estate agent.  We believe this is due to the effects Brexit has had on the market, and a number of new build developments within Greenwich which have government schemes and incentives.

This has led us to try something different, a Prize Competition Draw!

Eventbrite hold all entry fees until the competition winner has been announced by PrizeShark Ltd, an independent competition company.
