Invitation to The School of Law and Social Justice Pro Bono Awards Evening

There has been much pro bono activity in the School of Law and Social Justice and to recognise this we are holding this evening to celebrate the work of our students and community partners. This includes from the School of Law our volunteer lawyers, mentors and from the Department of Sociology, Social Policy and Criminology our Interchange student researchers. Light refreshments will be served and we will be awarding certificates to those students who have made a significant contribution as well as to some of our legal volunteers and all our Interchange student researchers. We would be delighted if you could attend.

All the projects we will be celebrating aim to provide students with high quality and distinctive experiences relevant to professional careers, and in doing so both deepen students’ studies and widen access to the professions. As you will already know, the projects also provide an important contribution to the City and its residents.
