Probiotics in Practice: A Workshop for Dietitians & Nutritionists

This workshop aims to provide an overview of the latest research and recommendations in the field of probiotics, specifically for dietitians and nutritionists. This workshop consists of 4 hours of CPD learning activity and is endorsed for CPD by the British Dietetic Association* and Association for Nutrition*.

The programme aims to provide attendees:

• an understanding of the influence of the gut microbiota on health
• a review of the latest evidence and potential use of probiotics
• practical support for delivering probiotics
• an awareness of the considerations to make when choosing a probiotic
