At this course, participants will come away with an understanding of the significant decision areas in well workovers and interventions. Particular emphasis is given to well diagnosis, water control, acidizing, squeeze cementing, wireline techniques, concentric tubing, perforating, well control, and completion fluids.

The course is designed for

  • Completion engineers
  • Production engineers
  • Reservoir engineers
  • Drilling engineers
  • Field supervisors
  • Production foremen
  • Engineering technicians

Learning objectives

  • Identify and Select Problem Wells
