About this event
ABOUT:
Join us at our well-established Procurement Act Peer Support Group, designed to help procurement professionals and commissioners navigate the changes introduced by the new Procurement Act, which came into force on the 24th February 2025.
This session will focus on the Competitive Flexible Procedure — a procurement procedure introduced by the new regulations which provides contracting authorities with the flexibility to design and tailor procurement processes to their specific requirements.
At this session, we will be joined by guest speakers Johnny Hugill (Co-Managing Director at PUBLIC) and Wyndham Plumptre (CEO of Cimple), who will share best practices and guidance on the practical implementation of the Competitive Flexible Procedure (CFP) for innovation.
We’ll also hear from a local authority case study who conducted an innovative procurement process under the PCR 2015, providing inspiration for what best practice innovation procurement looks like and ways in which the CFP could be used (Full details to be confirmed shortly).
As always, this session will end with an open floor to:
• Share challenges and successes
• Ask questions and raise concerns
• Learn from peers
Whether you're navigating the new regulations or looking to use the Competitive Flexible Procedure, this session is a great opportunity to connect with others who work in public sector procurement and commissioning and learn about how the Competitive Flexible Procedure could be used.
We look forward to seeing you there!
