Major changes in public procurement are about to be enacted that will affect housing associations suppliers. The main provisions of the Procurement Reform (Scotland) Act 2014 came into effect on 18 April 2016 and the Sustainable Procurement Duty and Community Benefit Requirements that came into effect 1 June 2016.
Preparing for these changes represents a major challenge to many suppliers and contractors. We have therefore organised a Suppliers and Contractors Procurement Event in conjunction with Edinburgh Affordable Housing Partnership.
This is a free event however places are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis. In order to ensure as many contractors as possible get the opportunity to attend, we are only accepting a maximum of two bookings per organisation.
The venue for this meeting will be Hanover Conference Centre in Edinburgh.
