PRODUCER LAB 2 | Your First Tour: How to Pitch, Plan & Partner
Ready to get your work on stage beyond your home base? Join our 2-Hour Producing Workshop that's jam-packed of juicy details on how to get your show on the road (literally!)
Hosted by our Exec Producer: Roxanne Carney
WHAT TO EXPECT:We've designed this workshop to help you learn the essentials of starting a touring journey and demystify the process. We’ll cover how to research and approach venues, decide who your key partners should be, and map out a tour that makes sense for your project. You’ll also gain practical insights into negotiating fees, drafting contracts, and communicating effectively with presenters. Perfect for emerging artists, producers, managers, and directors, this session gives you the foundational tools to confidently start booking and planning your first tour.
Please note, this workshop is solely focusing on how to get your foot in the door and begin your tour planning. Sadly, there is not enough time to cover tour management and ongoing conversations with partners - this workshop is in the making!
WHAT WILL YOU GET:
-Enrolment onto a jam-packed 2 hour workshop, led by Executive Producer Roxanne Carney
-Video recording of the workshop for up to 30 days after the session
