See what has worked, how people have done things, and see what you might be able to use yourself.

Agenda:

6.30pm - Speaker with Q&A

7.30pm - Close and Networking

8.00pm - To the pub

Speaker:

Charles Roels, VP Product @ OneDome

Charles has been working in the tech industry for over 20 years, originally specialising in telecoms. He worked with companies including Belgacom/Proximus, Vodafone and Three, where his brainchild 3MusicStore won the MusicWeek Award in 2006 and 2007.

In 2007 he moved across into startups, and successfully launched a range of tech products in music, travel and proptech, for Blinkbox, Secret Escapes and OneDome respectively. Along the way he also started a couple of his own startups and won further awards (Meffy and TVCC). Charles’ approach to product management is all about finding balance between adding value for the business and for the user; using behavioural psychology to create compelling user experiences, and data to drive decision-making. Whilst managing and mentoring teams, he likes to keep a hands-on approach, and still gets his daily agile fix and Jira fun at OneDome!

In his spare time he also invests in early-stage startups and offers product strategy advice.

Eva Liparova, Product Manager @ Victoria and Albert Museum

Eva Liparova is a product manager at the V&A responsible for defining and delivering all things digital at the museum. She has previously worked as a product manager at Knotch, a real-time intelligence software for digital marketing. She’s also been a freelance theatre producer, community manager and startup founder in companies across London, Berlin, San Francisco and New York.
