Blending the Biosciences in a Digital World
Join us to celebrate the inaugural lecture of Professor Nicola Veitch as she explores her work on blended learning and the development of digital tools to enhance both student engagement and science communication.
Professor Veitch is based in the School of Infection and Immunity at the University of Glasgow, where her focus is on biomedical sciences and parasitology as a Learning, Teaching and Scholarship academic. She coordinates key undergraduate programmes in Microbiology and Molecular Biology and plays a central role in curriculum development across the Life Sciences. A Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, her work spans student-staff partnerships in EDI, employability, and digital innovation in learning. She is also an advocate for creative approaches to public engagement, including outdoor street theatre as a medium for science communication.
