Profession for the Future: Global Megatrends and the Future of Work (collab...
Tue 28 March 2017, 18:00 – 20:30 BST
No-one can predict the future but, as Peter Cheese says, HR professionals must develop the capacity to recognise emerging trends and patterns.
This year, The World Economic Summit in Davos was in shock. Brexit, the rise of populism and the election of Donald Trump didn’t figure in many business predictions from this time last year. The fact that most organisations failed to see any of this coming suggests the business world has some way to go in developing its capability to understand socio-economic and political trends.
With this event on Global Megatrends we hope to take some steps to help rectify that.
We have a panel of economists, commentators, think-tankers and HR professionals to offer insights into these trends - and their potential impact on the Future of Work.
