The aim of this event is:
To give participants an opportunity to consider how Learning and Development professionals need to adapt and change and have a clearer idea of the expectations for Learning & Development now and in the future.
At the end of this short session it is expected that participants will:
- Have a better understanding of the history of Learning & Development.
- Have explored how Learning & Development professionals are currently operating.
- Consider the possible future needs of the Learning & Development Professional.
This session will be led by: Sandra Forbes & Ben Budd from the L&D Special Interests team, supported by input from those attending.

CIPD South East Scotland Branch
Welcome to the South East of Scotland branch events page.
We have over 2400 members in the Edinburgh, Lothians and Borders areas and run a varied programme of events from September to May.
The branch has a range of special interest and geographical groups including Learning and Development, Mediation, HR Systems, Knowledge into Practice, Borders and West Lothian, and offers CPD and upgrading support and a mentoring programme.
