In this Academy Live session, we will explore how to discover the areas that matter to you and how to identify the right training and development to pursue in those fields.

This Academy session is aimed at those who are RVNs, SVNs, and people working in veterinary practice management positions.

Session speaker

Shirley Gibbins PgDip BSc (Hons) RVN

Shirley is a RVN and the Qualifications Lead in the Veterinary Nursing department at the RCVS. She is an experienced Quality Lead having worked in both the higher education and regulatory landscape. Shirley is passionate about quality improvement in healthcare, having achieved a Postgraduate Diploma in Leading Quality Improvement with Distinction. She is now undertaking a PhD in Health Sciences with Bangor University, looking to develop advanced nursing in veterinary nursing.
