In this session, Emma will deliver a refresher on the key principles of instructing, and consulting with, expert witnesses, in preparation for proof.

Scope of duty: exploring the boundaries in a post-MBS/Meadows world

Victoria will discuss a series of recent cases in which the courts have grappled with the implications of the UKSC decision in MBS/Meadows.

Adam McKinlay, Advocate

Loss of a chance

Adam will review the courts’ approach to loss of chance claims, focusing on the recent decision in Centenary 6 Limited v TLT LLP
