Description

ProfessionalWomen@TUos – Monthly Creative Discussions Club - Speaker Louise Woodcock, Head of Academic and Learning Services

Louise is head of an integrated learning and teaching development and administration team, encompassing: university strategy and associated education and staff development, quality management for learning and teaching, widening participation research and evaluation, student administration and the Department for Lifelong Learning pathways for mature or disrupted studies learners looking to return to education.

Following on from the success of the Writing Club organised by the Women@TUOS network, we have decided to offer comparable service for female Professional Staff from across the university.

The monthly Creative Discussions Club is designed to bring together females working in Professional Service roles across the University to discuss ideas, share experiences and challenges and meet other like-minded individuals working in similar areas.

Each session will start with a 15 minute informal presentation from someone working in Professional Services to discuss current challenges and changes in their department, with time for Q&A afterwards.

We encourage all female professionals form all grades, departments, services and faculties to attend these sessions. You do not have to stay for the whole session, and can drop-in anytime between 12.00pm and 1.30pm, and can use this time, after the speaker, to do whatever you feel will help you.
