We are very pleased to be welcoming the eminent scholar and pundit on European affairs Professor Anand Menon to be in conversation with Lewes MP and Lib Dem Spokesperson on Europe, James MacCleary.
In the second half of the evening, there will also be a Q&A session with a chance for audience members to ask questions and discuss key issues with the panel.
Anand Menon is Professor of European Politics and Foreign Affairs at King’s College, London. He has regularly appeared on BBC TV including on Question Time and Newsnight, and written for The Guardian, The Financial Times and other major publications.
Anand is director of UK in a Changing Europe, an initiative funded by the Economic and Social Science Research Council that aims to make the findings of social scientific research available and accessible to those interested in the UK's relationship with Europe.
James MacCleary is the MP for Lewes and the Lib Dem Spokesperson on Europe. He speaks regularly in Parliament on European issues. He has a BA in politics and international relations, and an MSc in Russian and East European studies. He has worked as a director and manager for charities and campaigning organisations, including as Campaign Director for the European Movement UK.
