Professor Bill Lucas - Zest for Learning, creativity and curiosity

About this Event

Bill Lucas is Professor of Learning and Director of the Centre for Real-World Learning (CRL) at the University of Winchester. The CRL carries out research and consultancy focussing on dispositional teaching in schools and colleges, that is: teaching methods that impact on the development of positive learning dispositions in learners that are likely to help them thrive in the real world. Such dispositions include perseverance, effective reflection, seeking and acting on feedback and being able to adapt and change. Bill is known internationally as a speaker on the subjects of learning, change and creativity. He is a prolific, award-winning writer, and has authored and co-authored over forty books, including his most recent this year with Ellen Spencer, Zest for Learning: Developing curious learners who relish real-world challenges.
