Jeff Forshaw is Professor of Particle Physics at the University of Manchester and has just co-written ‘Universal: A Guide to the Cosmos’ with Brian Cox. Jeff Forshaw recently won the Kelvin Medal for explaining science to non-experts.
Jeff will explain the time before the Big Bang, when the Universe was compressed into a space smaller than an atom. He will take us on an epic journey of scientific exploration and reveal how we can all understand some of the most fundamental questions about our galaxy.
This will be an engrossing lecture whatever your level of scientific knowledge. All are welcome.
Refreshments and book signing afterwards.
Even if this lecture is sold out, seats may become available shortly before the lecture begins. If you already have a ticket, please note that due to the level of interest these events attract, if you are not in your seat by 6.55pm, your ticket may be made available to those who are waiting.
